2. Talk about an experience with faith, your own or someone else’s.
Faith- touchy subject for some. Taboo for others. What is faith? Is it the church going or something more?
This week, after a horrible 3 week wait to see if she would recover, my friend Kris lost a very dear longtime friend of hers. It was a tragic situation and one you wouldn’t wish on the flea on the dog of your worst enemy. My heart goes out to Kris, Beth, and all their family friends and loved ones.
When I heard that Beth’s family was taking her off life support and I was able, I emailed Kris just let her know I was thinking about her and everyone close to Beth. That prayers were being said for her to have a peaceful passage. I know it upset Kris that she wasn’t there. But I told her that I was sure Beth knew who loved her and was surrounded with everyone’s love and prayers.
You see it’s the faith in something more that makes me think that. I think on a much higher level we are more aware of things.

D…. when I read this, it made me cry. I had no idea that my experience with losing Beth had touched you like this. Thank you for your beautiful words. It’s been a long week, being back home for the funeral and saying goodbye. But, I’m so glad that I did this. I got to celebrate Beth’s life, remembering the wonderful & amazing woman that she was. And you were right, Beth knew how loved she was, by so many people.
I hope it was a good cry.
You’re more than welcome. It’s all part of a much larger picture of things going on. All good things too. I’m glad you were able to go home. I was hoping you would.
